Kesuma Bangsa Primary School

Kesuma Bangsa is a local Christian School located in Perum 4, Tangerang, Indonesia. Since 2005 Acorn Indonesia has supported Kesuma Bangsa through sponsorships. The head and founder of the school are well above retirement age (85+) and resigned from their positions.

To prevent the closing of the school and to continue with the education of 60 + children ,(50 % in need of sponsorship) we believe it is our duty to take over Kesuma Bangsa and provide quality teaching and continue employment for the local teachers.

The school is in desperate need of refurbishing in order to create healthy conditions of learning and development and a safe school environment.

Presently we instituting a new head of school and developing a training program for the teachers.

How Can I help?

With your donations, we can provide a quality Christian education to the underprivileged children in the local community.

With just $20 (GBP12.5) per month we can provide tuition/meals/books , with more we can support the rental of the building and buy new tables, chairs, whiteboards, sufficient  lighting, doors, toilets, resources and so much more.

We have a heart to reach this nation through quality education in the local school settings giving underprivileged children hope in their education and future job opportunities.

In Indonesia, about 54% of teachers are lacking professional teacher’s education .We want to help by training them to reach accreditation in their profession as teachers and to be able to reach their full potential as Christian educators. .
